First of all, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.  Congrats to all of the amazing runners (specifically the bloggers) who did the Walt Disney World half-marathon and marathon this weekend.  You are all truly inspiring!  Second of all, it seems like I have some new readers, so I just wanted to say hi, and thanks for stopping by!

I was a big dork in junior high.  I was awkward, didn’t know what to do with my hair, wore ridiculous brown lipstick and lipliner, worried about trends and was desperate to fit in.  It wasn’t until much later in my life that I accepted who I was and was OK with that.  Oh, I also wore braces.

Because I was desperate to get my braces off, I did everything my orthodontist told me to keep my teeth looking their best.  Somehow, I managed to continue those habits to this day.  I’m not that same awkward teenager anymore, but at least something good came out of that time!

I brush every morning and every night, and often several times in between.  I use Listerine daily for my gums, floss nightly and see my dentist twice a year for cleanings.  Knock on wood, I haven’t had any dental problems in my 28 years.

So when Waterpik offered to send me a Sensonic SR-1000W electric toothbrush, I said yes faster than Snooki taking a free shot.

Just kidding.  I wasn’t that fast.

30,000 brush strokes per minuteI LOVED this toothbrush, and can’t believe how clean it made my teeth feel.  No joke, I felt like I had just left the dentist’s office.  It charged fast, and was comfortable to hold the entire 2 minutes I brushed my teeth.  I like how it kind of stutters after each quadrant of your mouth, letting you know to go to the next quadrant, except I wish it would stutter/pause a little bit longer.  The only other thing I didn’t like is that the brush was a little rough for my teeth, but with a little trial and error, I got this brushing down to a science!  This toothbrush gets an A+ from me!
