10 Month Outtakes
Dear Aaron,
When you were just 3 weeks old, Uncle Justin and Auntie Robin came to visit you. Uncle Justin had been up for your bris, and Auntie Robocop was meeting you for the very first time.
In addition to some really cute clothes, they brought you a giant stuffed monkey. Look how small you were.
Such a sweet little baby.
Since then, we decided it would be fun to take a picture of you every month on your month birthday with the monkey. He just looked so giant next to you, plus we thought it would be a nice way to watch you grow.
The last few months of picture taking have been a little tougher than the first. You’re quite feisty now. Normally we can keep you still enough for a little bit to get a few quick pictures and then it’s destruction time. We managed to get one somewhat decent picture this month.
Then you went to town on the sign, and the poor monkey.
“Here Mr. Monkey. I took the sign, but would you like it?”
“Fine you won’t take it? I’ll force it on you.”
“Nah, I want it. But it’s getting away from me!”
“Photoshoot is over?!?! Yay! Let me clap for myself, I got you guys to stop!”
Oh boy, oh boy. I can’t wait to see what next months photoshoot looks like!
Love,
Mommy
P.S. On that visit from Uncle Justin and Auntie Robin, this happened too. I’d be surprised if you don’t grow up with an irrational fear of rodents. Or people dressed like animals.
I hate to admit it , but this is my progeny and the progeny of my progeny. What does that say for me?
Lol, I love the “convo” between Aaron and the monkey 🙂 Maybe you should start videotaping the photo shoot haha
